The 2015 ace community census is now available – check it out via the link above!

This ace community census is open to anyone over the age of 13, including both aces and non-aces. It will require approximately 15-20 minutes of your time to complete and will be open until November 15th, after which point no more entries will be accepted.

    The point of splitting the orientation labels into two questions is to allow people to identify with multiple labels, but without completely opening the field. They can pick up to one label from the first list, which deals with the direction of attractions, and as many as they like from the second, which deals with other aspects of attractions.

    We can’t limit people to single labels since many words, like lithromantic or gray-romantic, are entirely compatible with other romantic orientation labels. But if we let people identify with as many labels as they wanted, it would be hard to produce useful information, since the number of possible answers increases exponentially even if most of these combinations are unlikely.
